My financial person and some family think I'm nuts, but I'm 99% sure that I will buy based only on what I've read, researched and seen online, especially in this forum. I've been in that area as recently as April (Tulum) and loved Akumal last July.
Is there anything anyone might share with me regarding making this decision and wiring the funds ASAP?
My husband and I live near Richmond, VA (south of the Washington, DC area). I've been to Mexico 6 times now and loved the people and the places I've been, including Cozumel. We scuba dive, snorkel, camp, hike, kayak, have grown children and littled grandchildren. My kids are excited to hear I might buy a place as they loved Mexico as well.
I only have to transfer funds and wire them.
I'm a professional and my husband, Greg, is in retail gear and clothing (backpacking, kayaking, etc.) sales.
I would love to hear ANY REGRETS or suggestions now.
